KeySlaught
The words are coming. Type fast, build smart, protect the library.
KeySlaught is a 2D typing-action tower defense game. Enemies march toward a divine library as lettered creatures, and every key you type can become an attack. Move around the battlefield, strike enemies by typing the next letter in their word, and place defenses to hold the line.
How to play
- Type the next visible letter of an enemy’s word to attack it.
- Move around the battlefield to reach enemies and turret build sites.
- Build and upgrade turrets with different letter coverage and firing styles.
- Collect Brain Cells from defeated enemies and spend them during a run.
- Use library abilities to slow, reverse, or weaken advancing enemies.
- Protect the library: enemies that reach it deal damage based on their remaining letters.
Features
- Typing-based combat with word-shaped enemies
- Four turret families: Teacher, Engineer, Scientist, and President
- Three library abilities: History, Social Influence, and Politics
- A guided tutorial covering the core systems
- Lore levels and persistent research progression
Controls
- WASD / Arrow keys: Move
- A–Z: Type letters to attack
- Backspace / Delete: Refresh the typing buffer
